The Upcoming $1.8 Billion Energy Efficiency Decision

Join us for a conversation with Rochelle Robinson, Lead organizer of TURN (The Utility Reform Network), about energy efficiency. There is a CPUC energy efficiency proceeding that will decide how to spend $1.8 billion of Public Goods Charges over 3 years. PG&E is angling to administer these funds as they have been for years. TURN and others are advocating that the CPUC allow cities and other entities administer their own programs.

The LCEA has open meetings on the second Thursday of every month, featuring informative speakers on renewable energy, energy efficiency, and related efforts. The next meeting of Alliance is August 13th at 6 pm and will feature a special presentation from TURN's Rochelle Robinson.

Rochelle will give an overview of TURN and its history. She will discuss PG&E's record in Energy Efficiency, the current CPUC proceeding, and TURN's position. She will also talk about TURN's other campaigns and opportunities/ways for other organization to collaborate in this area.
