Why You Should Attend
The goal of this workshop is to allow members of the Marin County community to learn about the proposed Marin Clean Energy program and how other nearby municipal utilities are administered.
Marin Clean Energy will greatly expand green power in Marin and in February of 2010, the Marin Energy Authority Board of Directors is scheduled to vote on the execution of a final contract with an Energy Service Provider (ESP) to launch the program.
If Marin Clean Energy is implemented and you live in a city or town that is a member of the Marin Energy Authority, you will have the option to choose between power provided by Marin Clean Energy or Pacific Gas & Electric. If you are not in an MEA member jurisdiction, you will not have the option to choose Marin Clean Energy.
