Marin Clean Energy News and Events

Last month, the Town of Fairfax became the first town to pass the Marin Clean Energy Ordinance and JPA Agreement. Cities and towns have begun scheduling dates to hear from the public and vote on whether to join the Marin Clean Energy JPA. We encourage you to check the MCE calendar  and your local city or town's website frequently for the dates of these meetings.

The City of San Rafael is holding its second of three Neighborhood Meetings on Marin Clean Energy on Monday, September 8th at 6 p.m. The event will be at the San Rafael Community Center at 618 B Street, San Rafael.

The City of Mill Valley is holding a forum on climate change on Thursday, September 11th, in which Marin Clean Energy will be a topic of discussion.

There will be a Ross Valley Community Presentation on Marin Clean Energy on Tuesday, September 16th from 7:00-9:00pm. The location is Sir Francis Drake High School in San Anselmo and the event is geared toward residents of the Ross Valley -- San Anselmo, Ross, Kentfield, and other surrounding communities. This presentation will give Ross Valley residents the opportunity to learn about the Marin Clean Energy proposal and to ask questions directly of representatives of Marin Clean Energy and PG&E.
