Get Involved

We are delighted you made it to this page as the Local Clean Energy needs the help of individuals and organizations that want to advance clean renewable energy in the Bay Area. We hope that you will share your enthusiasm and expertise with us. Here is how you can get involved:

Join the Alliance

The Bay Area is incredibly well-positioned for a transition to a local clean energy economy, perhaps more so than any other region in this country. The Local Clean Energy Alliance (LCEA) welcomes organizational and inidividual members. Organizational members include nonprofits like Bay Localize, the Ecology Center, Pacific Environment, and the Sierra Club, and businesses like Sun Light & Power, SunEnergy, Nomad Café, and Crunchy Foods. We encourage both interested individuals and organizations to review our membership categories and join the alliance

Work with a Standing Committee

The Alliance has a few committees that lead our work in a number of program areas.  Some of these focus on campaigns and grass-roots organizing, some work on research and issue analysis, and some help us with organizational development. Check out our committees and contact our Coordinator to get more involved.
